To open the profit and loss view in the app:
- Open Reports
- Switch to the P&L view
- Select the period you want to inspect with the period and year filters
- Review the figures for that period; the Profit, Revenue, and Expenses tabs inside the view let you zoom in on each side
The dashboard uses the same P&L definition for its net-profit and estimated-tax-reserve cards. Expenses are counted without VAT, capitalised investments are recognised through their depreciation schedule rather than in the purchase month, and bank or inbox drafts that are still pending review are excluded because they are not in the books yet. This is different from the cash-based totals in the pulse row, which include VAT and pending drafts.
Turn on the comparison filter to see the same period next to a previous year.
